) Botox will help you not frown, or prevent deepening of your laugh lines; my doctor says if you keep injecting it once in a few months, your muscles will get trained! I do not know about that for sure cause he might be saying this in order to suck money out of my purse on a regular basis. However, when I did it only twice, I ENJOYED IT SO MUCH, BUT ITS EFFECT LASTED LESS THAN THREE MONTHS (35 SHOTS) which made me quite frustrated. If you have the budget, hey, whay not? Now that I do not have too much disposable money, I stick to my regular ritual before bed: After cleaning my face, and drying it, I place a regular, good quality scotch tape in the lenght of one or one and a half inch on my forehead befroe going to bed. For my problem (frown line) I place the tape in the middle of my eyebrows, except on a higher level (lower edges of tape sit right on the top edge of the eyebrows). It works to prevent further deepening of the line, because it limits the movement of my forehead’s muscles {this is what botox does}. I remove the tape when I get up. Even the second time when I had botox injection, I religiously put a tape on my forehead as well, every night and it seemed as if it prolonged the effect of botox, by maybe a month or a month and a half longer than the first time! PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR TO see if this is OK and there are no side effects of sticking a little scotch tape on your forehead. I always forget to ask, but I have a thick skin, and so far (after three years) nothing has happened and I neither saw nor felt any abnormality taking place on my skin or on my forehead! I guess there are much more harmful rays and chemicals in our environment these days that outweight any potential effect of the tape! This is my speculation, and my body might be different. So please check with a physician who is not making any money by injecting botox. Good Luck to you. Please let me know how did it go, and please do not have restylane filling after that cause it not only lasted so little {much less than what the doctor promised me in his sales pitch}, but also it is rediculously expensive.
